Sensibill ranks No. 65 on The Globe and Mail’s Top Growing Companies list

We’re excited to share that Sensibill has been named one of Canada’s Top Growing Companies in the 2020 Report on Business! Sensibill placed 65 out of the 400 companies recognized by The Globe and Mail. Rankings are based on three-year revenue growth of annual operating revenue. Sensibill experienced a three-year growth of 800% - our team has been hard at work driving innovation for our clients!

How does a company make the list?

Launched in 2019, Canada’s Top Growing Companies list celebrates entrepreneurial achievement in Canada by identifying and amplifying the success of growth-minded independent businesses across the country. To make the list, eligible companies must be Canadian; be independent and for-profit; be an operating company; have been in continuous operation; and meet the minimum operating revenue.

What has our team accomplished these past three years?

We’re proud of the hard work our team has accomplished over the past three years - including adding over 80 new FIs to our roster. From tier-one banks like Chase to community banks and credit unions, institutions across North America and the U.K. are gaining unparalleled insights into their customers’ financial patterns and behaviors with our digital receipt and expense management solution. Our latest product, our Receipt Extraction API, will enable our clients to help their customers through better, deeper data.

Since 2013, we’ve been pioneers in SKU-level data, leveraging insight that was once only available to retailers to help institutions accurately identify customers’ hobbies, interests, and timely financial needs, delivering a better and more relevant banking experience. And, we’ve established partnerships with leading core and digital banking providers like FIS and NCR to help deploy and scale our technology.

We’ve also secured close to $50 million USD in funding since our inception, including $13 million USD in Series A, and $31 million USD in Series B  last summer to further invest in our product evolution. Plus, we’ve appointed digital banking veteran, Tom Shen, to serve as chairman of our board. He, along with our talented, collaborative, and diverse team, are furthering our company’s mission of empowering institutions with innovative solutions that drive customer value and engagement - all while expanding the data streams these banks and credit unions need to forge deeper relationships.

What do our leaders have to say?

From our talented team to our timely solutions and the innovation we consistently deliver to our clients and their consumers, our leaders are proud of the significant strides we’ve made.

For Izabella Gabowicz, Sensibill’s COO, the past seven years reflect the hard work and passion that’s gone into our solutions:

“What we’ve been able to accomplish over these past seven years has been tremendous; I couldn’t be prouder of our technology and team. We’re using alternate, contextual data to make banking more meaningful and valuable in consumers’ and businesses’ everyday lives – a task that’s never been so critical. Recognition on the list means that we’re in the business of making a difference, and our partners and clients recognize that, too.”

Corey Gross, our Co-founder and CEO, echoes Izabella’s excitement for our solutions and how we’re helping organizations turn SKU-level data into actionable insights:

“We’re proud of everything we’ve accomplished over the past three years, from growing our talented team and enhancing our solution, to building strategic partnerships and fostering new client relationships. Our inclusion on Canada’s Top Growing Companies list reflects our solution’s relevance in the market; there is a major need, especially today, for institutions to help consumers and businesses better and more proactively manage their finances. We look forward to continuing this momentum, both on the technology and people side of the business; these pillars are equally critical to our overall success.”
